# Job Summary:
The QC Technician will function in a day to day ready-mix concrete and aggregate supply environment and will work directly with all members in the quality control, operations, and sales departments. The technician will be responsible for maintaining a high standard for safety and integrity as laid forth by Knife River. The technician will be responsible for assisting in lab functions (aggregate gradations, trial batch mix-design, breaking specimens, etc.), testing ready-mix concrete, and contributing to job service.
# Minimum Qualifications:
* Must be dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment
* Must take direction and be willing to learn
* Must be self-starting and task driven
* ACI Level 1- Field Testing Certification
* Knowledge of aggregate gradations
* Knowledge of concrete mix-design
* Familiarity with breaking concrete specimens
* Must be able to lift and climb as needed
* Must be able to use Microsoft Excel and Word as necessary
* Any other task as required by supervisor
* Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
# Other Information
QC Technician will be responsible for providing steel-toed boots; all other required personal protective equipment will be provided by Knife River.
